The LPD NUVU folding sliding patio doors are the perfect addition to any home, allowing the wonders of your garden to envelop your interior. The fully factory finished doors and frame allow you to install the doors without worrying about finishing them on site and the 44mm thick door leaves come with pre-installed thermally efficient argon filled double glazed units and tempered glazing units. Tempered glazing is the standard for safety glazing, offering properties that are five times stronger than standard glass and if broken it will break into small pieces rather than splintering into shards.

The NUVU Oak folding sliding doors come with a fully incorporated 140mm aluminium cill, specifically designed for use in external wall installations, giving optimal drainage performance and durability. The NUVU folding sliding doors are weather tested to BS 6375 Part-1:2009.

The NUVU folding sliding patio doors have a whole product U value of 1.8W/m2K and are fully Part L compliant. This will hel to keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer; whilst lowering the carbon emissions from your property. There are also fully integrated trickle vents in the frame head and these doors are fully compliant with Part F of the Building Regulations.

For the security minded, the NUVU doors are fitted with a full multi-point locking system on the opening doors and also have key-lockable drop bolts on the inside of each door leaf. The NUVU doors opening outwards and are top hung, ensuring effortless and jam-free operation, without the collection of everyday dirt and debris in the bottom guide track. The top hung system is mechanically more efficient, but all the weight of the doors is taken on this top roller track. It is therefore imperative that an adequate lintel is housed over the brickwork opening and that the NUVU frame head is securely fixed into the lintel.

All NUVU folding sliding doors are fully reversible; which means they can be installed to slide to either the left or to right, depending on your personal preference or architectural restrictions of the property. For ease of assembly, the majority of components are pre-machined. Comprehensive installation instructions are included.
