The doors are fully compliant with Part L and Part M of current UK Building Regulations and have a U value rating of 2.0W/m2K. The frame of the folding french doors is of a mortice & tenon mixed hardwood core construction with a European Oak veneer.The Freedom 6ft oak tri-fold door set has an external frame size of 2090mm x 1790mm and a clear walk through gap of approximately 1678mm. All brickwork openings should be 10mm larger than the external frame size, i.e. 3000mm x 1800mm. The doors are 54mm thick.The doors fold to the outside only and the frame has a bottom roller, with the track being a guide system. The door weight is taken on the bottom roller, therefore not relying on a fixing to the existing lintel. Please see diagrams for illustration of the left and right hand opening.A 5 point locking system is included as standard on the tri-fold doors and the opening door has a latch, dead bolt, 2 rhino hooks and top and bottom shoot bolts, all handle operated.The tri-fold doors are supplied with 2 sets of handles and cylinder locks. Adjustable hinges supplied giving +- 2mm in height and +-2mm sideways.Glazing on the doors and folding panel is 24mm double glazed low E, argon filled units. Toughened to BS6206 class A. These are Tremco security taped with aluminium rain deflectors supplied as standard. All hinge cut-outs and handle holes are pre machined. The doors are pre machined for the locking bar, keeps and soot bolts. The doors and frame are supplied with a high performance weather seal, ‘aquamac 21’.
